Minor Max

Blue light, one tier down

The middle Max tier, in deep blue. The same twin-wheel climb as its bigger sibling, with its own prize ladder and its own promote spokes.

How it plays

Minor Max sits in the middle of the Max family, trading Major Max's red glare for deep blue ripples and a starfield. The base game is the studio's shared frame — dice placed into four three-by-three slots, combinations scored against the points table, multipliers for three or four winning slots. Its bonus follows the same twin-wheel shape: a twenty-segment first wheel whose promote spokes lead to a twelve-segment second wheel, where the two top wedges sit directly opposite each other. The mystery ladder behind it is pitched a tier below Major Max, with more mysteries standing in for flat cash.

  • Twin-wheel bonus: a 20-segment wheel into a 12-segment wheel
  • Promote spokes painted for the wheel they lead to
  • Four 3x3 dice slots filled by placement
  • Nine alike pays a flat 200 points
  • A second mystery tier, one step below Major Max

The bonus

The bonus runs on a pair of wheels. The first is the one you reach, the second is the one worth reaching, and the only route to it runs through the marked segments on the first.

Two wheels, one way up

  1. Minor mystery wheel — values award mysteries, and only the M segments carry play up to the second wheel.
  2. Mystery wheel — fewer segments, larger awards, and no way back down.

Trigger

Three matching bonus dice.

The bonus die

Three bonus dice landing alike is what opens the bonus game. The bonus is then what pays out — mysteries, points, and on some games a cash prize — and the Mystery counter in the status bar tracks what has been banked.

How it runs

  1. 01Three matching bonus dice open the first wheel.
  2. 02Every segment awards mysteries, and the value on it is how many.
  3. 03An M segment promotes play to the second wheel instead.
  4. 04The second wheel carries the larger awards and no way back down.

What the bonus is worth

The base prize ladder is steep: 100 points pays €2, and only a full 1000 pays €100.
