How it plays
Viking Quest opens on a green Norse valley, a turf-roofed longhouse and a wooden shield stuck with arrows. Its base game is the one every Power Gaming title shares: dice placed into four three-by-three slots, combinations scored, multipliers for a board that comes good. The bonus is the studio's most unusual. A raven spreads its wings, and those wings carry the ladder — points up one side, prizes up the other. There are five spins, but they are not five awards: each is an offer that may be refused, a refused rung is withdrawn from the pool, and the fifth spin is forced.
- Raven-wing prize ladder: points one side, prizes the other
- Five spins, each one an offer that can be refused
- A refused rung is withdrawn from the pool
- The fifth spin is forced
- Four 3x3 dice slots filled by placement
The bonus
A wheel in all but shape. The raven's wings carry the points ladder and the prize facing each rung, and every spin puts one of them in front of you to take or turn down.
The raven's choice
Euro figures in the artwork are typeset at the €1.00 reference stake and do not follow the selector above.
Trigger
Three matching bonus dice.

Three bonus dice landing alike is what opens the bonus game. The bonus is then what pays out — mysteries, points, and on some games a cash prize — and the Mystery counter in the status bar tracks what has been banked.
How it runs
- 01Three matching bonus dice open the bonus.
- 02Each spin lands on a rung: points up the left wing, the prize facing it on the right.
- 03Take what you land on, or turn it down and spin again.
- 04A refused rung is gone for good, so the pool shrinks with every refusal.
- 05Five spins in all, and whatever the fifth lands has to be accepted.
- 06The count at the centre is how many mysteries the round carries.

What the bonus is worth
The base prize ladder is steep: 100 points pays €2, and only a full 1000 pays €100.
